HFW works with you and/or your children to build a
fitness foundation for life.
We have created an environment that fosters learning, teaches patience and accountability, these are tools and techniques that can last you or your children a lifetime.
Exercise should be developmentally appropriate, enjoyable and safe. While younger children (14 and under) have traditionally been encouraged to participate in aerobic activities such as swimming and bicycling, a compelling body of evidence indicates that
strength training can also be a safe and effective
method of exercise
for children. This training must be well structured and supervised by professionals. With the right direction these methods can even reduce risks of injury in sports and play.
HFW KIDS
and HFW JUNIOR specific programs are designed to improve attendees overall fitness and motor skills. These programs will improve their overall strength, coordination, reaction skills, and develop better focus and sense of teamwork, helping pave the way for High School varsity sports and beyond.
The HFW VARSITY
program provides ongoing support and training throughout pre-season, in-season and off-season times for young athletes. Our off season programs are the most crucial to our athletes success. It is during this time we focus on the following five key objectives; increased blood flow, increase work capacity, mobility work, weak point training and speed development. This foundation will get them ready for the hard training to follow.
Our HFW COLLEGIATE & ELITE
program provide support for high-level high school senior and pro athletes alike, who are the pinnacle of sports performance. Our athletic training programs are designed to get results fast, with 4-5 day per week programs that include speed, strength, power and skill development training on a weekly basis.
